This tool performs pairwise comparisons of a user-defined query energy profile to the pre-calculated eProS database. After calculation, the list of the best hits is displayed. This list is created by ordering the received dScores which indicate global energy profile similarity. dScores range from 0 (identical energy profiles) to 5 (no similarities detectable). In general, dScores smaller 2.5 point to significant energy profile similarity and, thus, biologically relevant relationships.
